Protein contributes to the growth and maintenance of muscle mass and the maintenance of normal bones; it is the major source of building material in our entire body: muscles, internal organs, skin, etc.
Scientific studies show that the intake of serum protein and certain amino acids such as L-Arginine, L-Ornithine, L-Citrulline and L-Taurine induces synthesis of GH, the growth hormone. In the literature GH is classically defined as “a metabolic hormone that induces hyperglycemia, lipolysis and protein anabolism and induces the expression of many other growth factors (mainly insulin-like growth factor or IGF-I) and has direct effects on cell proliferation and differentiation.” Increased GH results in muscle and bone trophism in adults and inhibition of adipogenesis, stimulated conversely by insulin and estrogen, resulting in mobilization of fat from hormone-dependent areas.
About 30 percent of the total protein in our body is collagen, which is essential for joints, bones, muscles, ligaments, tendons, skin, hair, and nails. It is a major structural protein in connective tissues and also abounds in blood vessels, intervertebral discs, the blood-brain barrier, the cornea, dentin, and the intestinal wall.
It is important to remember that collagen makes up about 80 percent of the dry weight of the skin, an organ whose properties are affected by endogenous and environmental factors, including aging, ultraviolet radiation, hormones, and nutrition.
The Bioactive Collagen Peptides in Amin Biodiet Protein Collagen® can stimulate skin metabolism and counteract collagen loss of the extracellular matrix from within: Bioactive Collagen Peptides are derived from a highly controlled production process: enzymes (endopeptidases) cut collagen at specific points; the short peptides thus formed have two unique characteristics: a very compact “helix tip” structure that allows their absorption in the intestine via paracellular transport and recognition by receptors (integrins) of collagen-producing cells (fibroblasts) that are thus stimulated to produce new collagen.
In practice, the specific peptides are recognized by the fibroblasts of the dermal layer of the skin as the same collagen fragments as those resulting from catabolic activities, so they are stimulated to increase collagen metabolism to counterbalance the presumed degradation of collagen in the dermis. The result is greatly increased production of dermal collagen and extracellular matrix in general, replacing what has been lost due to various factors.
Several scientific experiments have studied the potential of VERISOL®:
The first study of 69 women aged 35 to 55 years revealed that VERISOL® leads to increased skin elasticity-up to 15 percent- compared to placebo treatment.
This effect could be measured after only 4 weeks of treatment and persisted after 8 weeks of oral administration of VERISOL®. After another 4 weeks after the last VERISOL® intake, the group still showed higher levels of skin elasticity than the placebo-treated group.
The second study with more than 100 women aged 45-65 years shows that oral administration of VERISOL® (2.5 g/day) significantly reduces wrinkles after 4 weeks and leads to significantly higher skin procollagen concentration.
Improved skin surface texture and decreased cellulite:
Approximately 85% of the world’s adult female population is affected by cellulite (the orange peel appearance of the skin), mainly caused by disorders of the dermal matrix in combination with excess subcutaneous fat, bulging in the dermis, and excess interstitial fluid.
VERISOL® supplementation directly stimulates the formation of dermal extracellular matrix and can help reduce cellulite.
Significant decrease in cellulite score:
A double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled study of 105 women aged 25 to 50 years shows that daily oral intake of 2.5 g of VERISOL® significantly decreases the cellulite score.
The effect was measured after 3 and 6 months of intake. VERISOL® has a beneficial effect on the extracellular matrix of the skin and restores the normal structure of the dermis and subcutaneous tissue. VERISOL® supplementation also reduced skin waviness, with the first visible results after 3 months, but more pronounced after 6 months.
With a daily dose of 2.5 g of VERISOL® the appearance of cellulite in women with a BMI < 25 was significantly reduced. As part of the study, changes in dermal density were studied. The two ultrasound scans show side by side the skin of a placebo group participant compared to the skin of a VERISOL® group participant. The increase in elastin and collagen is clearly visible.
Promoting nail growth and health
VERISOL® Bioactive Collagen Peptides can also help improve nail growth and health. A recent study shows a decrease in cracked and/or chipped nails after 2 months of treatment, reaching a 42% decrease after 6 months. Compared with the control group, the rate of nail growth is increasing. VERISOL® led to a statistically significant improvement in nail growth after 3 months of treatment. At the same time, there is a significant improvement in nail peeling and a marked decrease in nail edge irregularity. Eighty percent of the patients were completely satisfied with the VERISOL® treatment, 75% of the women said their nails were longer, and 71% said their nails grew faster and became longer. METHOD OF USE.
1 sachet daily dissolved in a cup of room temperature or lukewarm water, other liquids or yogurt. The use of an immersion blender is recommended for perfect solubilization.
WARNINGS
In case of prolonged use (beyond 6 to 8 weeks), medical advice is required. The product is contraindicated in cases of kidney disease, in pregnancy and under 14 years of age.
